What You Will Do :

Windchill System administration

• Install and support Windchill Software License, Support packages, configuration tasks
• Coordinate and perform maintenance of Support Packages, Plug-Ins, and system Patches, maintain system parameters, execute Health Check procedures, Quarterly system Maintenance
• Schedule and perform standard Windchill housekeeping jobs like process management, queue management, Worker agent administration, vault administration, Visualization services, maintain replica Servers, maintain interfaces
• Provide guidance on Windchill architecture and its interface, strategy road mapping for Windchill systems
• Re-hosting of Development and QA Servers, Patch and hot fix deployment, Vaulting and Replication server setup, Worker agent setup
• Co-ordination with other IT systems support teams whenever necessary
• Log Product Issues with the Product Vendors Technical Support (PTC), Co-ordinate with product vendor(PTC) on issue resolution, Continuous monitoring in case of high priority issues
• Windchill performance tuning, periodic Data Archiving, Backup and Recovery
• Windchill systems Database Administration-coordinate for the installation of Windchill database fix packs, apply Windchill database upgrades, tune database per Windchill recommendations

Windchill Developer / Customization

• Develop / Implement PLM functionality in Windchill (Chang Process, BOM and Configuration Management), Reporting, etc.
• Database management and build QML and Custom reports
• Develop / Implement / Manage workgroup manager issues
• MVC/JCA/WCA, Webjects and HTML Template Processor
• Windchill User Interface customization - UI validators / Filters ,data utilities, views , table builders, form processor
• Windchill Business Reporting/QML Reports, Info*engine, Custom tools, utilities and services
• Workflow process customization
• Assist business units with maintenance, modification and troubleshooting of access control rules, user groups and roles

General

• Document system architecture, landscape designs, configuration changes and associated test cases
• Work with business stakeholders and Information Technology system administrators or 3rd party vendors to implement and test system changes or corrections
• Implement, support, maintain interfaces with other systems, help with data transmission or transformation processes
• Interact with international team members to keep system reliability at its maximum
• Proactively monitor the systems ensure availability of system
• Development of training material, configuration and process documentations and organization of training courses
• Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
• Work as part of a global project team to coordinate development and determine project scope and limitations.

What You Need :

• Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree or equivalent in Computers, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Windchill Customization
• Good Knowledge on Windchill API’s and Data model
• More than 1 years knowledge and practical experience working on Linux OS (preferably RedHat, Ubuntu)
• More than 1 year knowledge and practical experience working with relational databases (preferably Oracle , MySQL, PostgreSQL, , )
• More than 1 year understanding of Web-Server configuration and administration (SSL, virtual host, rewrite, reverse-proxy - preferably Apache)
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical manuals and design papers
• A global perspective with the ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.
• Good communication skills, strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

• Evaluate or debug software installations which components are dispersed in a global network
• Elaborated usage of data security (de-/encryption, SSL certificates, )
• Cooperative attitude, character who likes to work within international team
• Curious and open minded while developing and establishing solutions
• Stress tolerant while problem solving or in emergency situations
• Flexible and inventive finding a work-around for incidents
• Thorough and diligent working with external support organizations on problem resolutions
