Job Description

High Level Job Responsibilities:

• Works under IT Operations and collaborates with multiple teams such as: Development teams, DBA teams, OS Support, Capacity Planning, Production Support, Information Security to manage and improve the production environment.
• Performs day to day operations tasks for management of production environment
• Responsible for configuration, maintenance, and deployment of JAVA EE applications in production environment.
• Develop and maintain complex automated scripts and templates for the use of management of environment, application deployments and start/stop of applications.
• Facilitate Outage calls and drive resolution for environmental related outages.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Investigation of Thread Dumps and Stack Traces.
• Performs independently and in team environment and participate in 24X7 oncall rotation for production application support.
• Ability to effectively communicate to various support teams and all levels of management
• Coordination/implementation of infrastructure changes (upgrades, patches, maintenance, etc.)

Essential skills:-

• Middleware Technologies: Weblogic/Tomcat/JBOSS
• OS: Linux AS 5.x, 6.x (64 bit)
• Scripting: Unix/Linux basics/PowerShell/Shell Scripting
• Strong knowledge of Change management/ticketing software : ServiceNow/Any Ticketing Tool
• Tools: Putty, Secure-CRT, WINSCP

Desirable Skills:-

• SQL Server/Oracle DB
