Tosca Automation Test Engineer, who has expertise in Tricentis TOSCA Automation tool who, Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains tests to validate product. Having the knowledge of other Automation tools like Selenium or Katalon would be a plus. Works with multi-disciplinary testing teams to resolve the Automation needs.

Responsibilities

  • Automation Development of web / mobile applications using Tricentis Tosca tool. Integration with CI/CD Pipeline. Participate in defect triage calls.
  • Apply business, functional and Tosca technical knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the teams overall test objectives
  • Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date
  • Implement successful test automation at multiple projects
  • Responsible for planning, designing, deploying, maintenance and troubleshooting related to TOSCA
  • Implement the Tricentis best practices through developing and handling custom controls
  • Actively contribute to sharing testing and tool knowledge inside the QA team
  • Provide demonstrations of automation and testing tool
  • Provide status reporting to QA and business leadership
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues
  • Provide technical support to Automation Specialists
  • Design methods for the creation of test data
  • Build custom controls to be recognizable to the Tosca Test-suite
  • Participates and provides some input in project code reviews
  • Makes changes to or upgrades existing systems. Enhances and improves existing technologies to apply to new solutions
  • Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems
  • Builds productive working relationships internally and externally

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of working experience of Tricentis TOSCA Automation tool and framework
  • Experience in use of project that utilize either Tosca Tbox or Classic engines
  • Should have Tosca Certifications from below,

o Automation Specialist Level 1 (AS1)

o Automation Specialist Level 2 (AS2)

o Automation Engineer Level 1 (AE1)

o Automation Engineer Level 2 (AE2)

o Test Design Specialist Level 1 (TDS1)

o Test Design Specialist Level 2(TDS2)

o Tosca Query Language (TQL)

o Automation Specialist for Databases is a plus

o Automation Specialist for API is a plus

o qTest Level 1 is a plus

  • Good Knowledge on TOSCA Best practices
  • Hands on experience with Selenium or Katatalon is a plus
  • API, Mobility and Database testing through TOSCA
  • Understanding of Database and to be able to write SQL queries is a plus
  • Having qTest (Test Management Tool) knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in object-oriented programming in C# is a plus
  • Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills
  • Intercultural skills, team spirit and willingness to cooperate
  • Strong communication skills with remote and offshore team
