Description
Roles and Responsibilities.
- Hands on Experience in designing substation network architecture of control systems (ALSTOM, GE, SCHNEIDER, ABB, SIEMENS).
- Hands on Experience in control philosophy for process / power plants.
- Hands on Experience in Software, Hardware design and test experience with any of DCS.
- Working Knowledge on Utility Communication Protocols like IEC61850, OPC, Modbus, DNP3, IEC 101,104, TCP/IP, Prefabs, Profinet, Fieldbus, SPA.
- Hands-on experience in Application Engineering tool with any of the DCS
- Hands-on experience in Graphic Engineering tool with any of the DCS
- Hands-on Experience in developing HMI graphics/logics related to Primary equipment monitoring and control, Load shedding, Load sharing, PQ Controls, Synchronization etc.
- Hands on Experience in configuration of Controllers, Protocol Gateways, Data Concentrators on various communication protocols.
- Hands on Experience in working with various manufacturer IEDs on IEC 61850 Protocol in creating *.IEC, ICD, CID, SCD Files.
- Hands on Experience in producing documents ranging from Pre to Detailed Engineering, System Testing (FAT & IFAT) for above mentioned systems.
- Current knowledge of network engineering and IT developments (PC handling, Windows applications, PC configurations, virus scanners, interfaces, backup)
- Hands on experience on multi-vendor IED Engineering and commissioning in electrical protection relay applications.
- May work under direct supervision or independently.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Candidates who has completed B.E/B.TECH in EEE,ECE,EIE are preferable.
- Good written & verbal communication skills.
