- Predera Technologies is a Silicon Valley based startup which is building AI based big data solutions for Healthcare, Finance and Retail clients.
- We are looking for creative and enthusiastic developers who will be working in a team of software engineers on challenging assignments.
- The candidate will get an opportunity to work on some new challenging projects as well as maintain some existing systems. Company provides a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop solutions including front-end for client and/or internal big data products/platforms
- Requirements analysis, effort estimation and technical design
- Create and maintain design documentation
- Develop unit testing and deployment packages
- Build and administer development environments with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery capabilities
- Participate in team meetings and provide timely status updates
- Contribute best practices and improvements to development methodologies and processes
- Learn new skills as needed to work on big data and machine learning solutions
Requirements :
- Very strong in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, JUnit
- Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and Web services
- Experience with front-end development using AngularJS/ReactJS
- Good knowledge of Linux, Git, CI/CD
- Solid understanding of at least one RDBMS (preferably PostgreSQL)
- Exposure to cloud services - AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3, etc) is preferred
- Good communication skills and team player
Good to Have (A big plus) :
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus
- Experience with Cloud Foundry and building PaaS applications
- Experience building big data solutions using Hadoop technologies
- Practical working knowledge of visualization technologies (HighCharts, Kibana, etc)
- Exploratory data analysis skills including but not limited to SQL, R, Tableau, iPython, etc
- Understanding of NoSQL and distributed databases like HBase, Cassandra, ElasticSearch or MongoDB
