The primary responsibility will be to design and develop code base for PCS 7 TeleControl/PowerControl/Open OS products which must be developed using VB/C# and C++.

Responsibilities

Understanding & Implementing Requirement engineering, Design, Coding & Debugging, and Testing of new or existing features, along with bug fixes on the product line.

Troubleshooting / Maintaining existing code.

Utilizing industrial domain knowledge for analyzing & providing solution to the customer requirements/product field defects as code fixes / patches

Implementation using VB6 , Scripting namely VB/C Scripts for components.

Set up the test environments for different deployment, which involves configuration of the products.

Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential risks/problems.

Collaborate on cross-functional and globally located teams including other Architects, developers, product owners and other support teams to implement and release product to the market

Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering

Experience: 6-8 years of Hand-on experience in product software design & development using scripting language (VB/C), and experience in Industrial Automation.

• Hand-on experience in product software development
• Experience in design & development using VB6/C and VB scripts
• Basic C++ understanding will be added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and with team in collaboration.
• Experience in Industrial Automation domain
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness for continuous learning
• Experience in Agile Methods, Continuous Delivery and Test Driven Development.
