Must have basic understanding Staples and Fruits & vegetable, Processed
foods quality checks, The basic knowledge on FSSAI labelling, Food safety
compliance and audit skill.
Experience: Min 2 to 5 Years relevant retail/Food industries experience.
Qualifications: BSc Agri/MSc/ B Tech Food Technology/Horticulture/Food
Science & technology/Microbiology
Job Location: Bengaluru/Maharashtra/Hyderabad/Chennai.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Check the quality of Staple & F&V commodities coming into the distribution
center as per the specifications given for each.
* Visit markets regularly to understand and provide necessary feedback of
quality available in the market and conduct monthly quality benchmarks.
* Travel across facilities (Distribution centers, Processing Mills, Repacking) to
train executives on staples quality and implement new quality processes.
* FSSC approved Rice and Pulses manufacturing mills identification and
supporting business on product consistency
* Planning & execution of repacking, related to Staples & Fruits and
vegetables.
* Conducting internal quality audits and follow up NC closures
* Handling customer complaints and supporting regional quality heads.
* Conduct work & Food safety training as per monthly calendar.
* Selection new approved vendors/suppliers on board
* Handling customer/source re packing unit audits.
* Good in communication and mail writing skills.
* Travelling to customer/supplier location and food safety training.
* Farm visits/Field level training
* Handling documents of FSSC & BRC audits.
* Supporting Regional MIS
