Roles and Responsibilities
Pedagogy Designer
The Pedagogy Designer is responsible for developing the modules of the curriculum for an art & animation course that is intended to reach a global user base. The role involves working with the Pedagogical Lead to research, experiment and & prototype concepts and methods that can go into the curriculum - from both the student as well as the teacher side. Subject Matter
Expertise such as art, animation, film-making etc is NOT required. However the ability to work with SMEs and understand the Subject enough to build and experiment is a must.
Responsibilities:-
Research and Content creation
- Researching on concepts for Art, Animation, 3D Animation and software, child psychology to build a holistic curriculum
- Eye for child-friendly design and communication
Module framework creation - Module level content for different programs like Illustration, 2D Animation, 3D Animation
- Ensuring flow and connectivity between classes within the modules
- Creating concept breakdown and supporting material (tools, software) from scratch for different modules based on the teams requirement. Additional resources (Students and teacher)
- Developing a range of digital resources to optimize classroom learning and ensure ongoing learning outside of formal settings.
- Creating supplementary teacher and student guides, as well as resource packs.
- Collate relevant resources (additional reading material, audio-video resources) for teacher and student for different concepts.
- Breakdown concepts for children (Eg. explaining how lighting works in real life and how one uses it in 3D software using examples)
- Worksheets/ Additional exercises based on class that the child can try independently during the week.
Working days in a week - 5 days
Work Location - Bangalore/Mumbai/Gurgaon (Currently remote)
