Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. The resource will be involved in building the microservices framework and the actual microservices.
2. The resource would be involved in design discussions for building an application on Azure cloud platform using microservices architecture.
3. Work closely with design, development and testing teams.
4. Deliver microservices in line with quality acceptance criteria.
5. Work on any defects/issues reported during the project lifecycle and track it to closure.
6. Adhere to the project schedules and timelines and highlight any risks that would cause schedule slippages.
7. Attend meetings and discussions with internal and external teams.
8. Participate in the planning, estimation, reporting and other team discussions and provide inputs wherever necessary

Desired Candidate Profile

1. 2-4 years of experience in designing and development of microservices using either Java/Spring boot or node.js
2. Minimum 3 years of experience with API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP and Swagger
3. Hands on experience with docker, kubernates and any of the cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP
4. Strong understanding of containerization, cloud architecture.
5. Experience working in agile methodology using CI/CD pipeline.
6. Good knowledge on microservices architecture.
7. Experience in supporting and/or implementing complex integrations
8. Excellent communications skills
9. Experience with data modelling would be an added advantage.
10. Experience in working with any database preferably MongoDB
