Intern Global Tapeout Operations (Manufacturing OPC)
The OPC group at GlobalFoundries, Bangalore is looking for an intern for a duration of 6 months . OPC is a photolithography enhancement technique commonly used to compensate for image errors due to diffraction or process effects. OPC is done prior to building Design on Photomask in advanced tech nodes for cutting edge technologies as a part of Semiconductor Manufacturing Process.
Required Qualifications: Desired Candidate should be currently pursuing (final year)
Masters Degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Microelectronics/ Material Science. Research/projects involving semiconductor fabrication process is a plus. Should have basic knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication processes like Photolithography, Implant and semiconductor device physics. Should have good proficiency in English (verbal and written) & communication skills Should be very good with LINUX commands, directory structure etc Knowledge of Perl, Shell, TCL, PHP, Oracle, MySQL will be a plus EDA experience in Mentor / Synopsys / Cadence etc will be a plus. The project cannot be used as a topic for the candidate’s Masters thesis or presented as a report in the University in any form. Should be willing to work 40hrs a week in GF Bangalore office for 6 months.
