Editing is incredibly democratic and accessible, it's probably the best option if you want to change the world, not just re-decorate it.
As a corporate graphic designer and AV artist, you'll be responsible for designing brochures and research agenda's as per professional standards. You will also be required to assemble recorded raw material clips into a finished project that's suitable for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects. And also you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.
Responsibilities:-
Design Prospectus and Research Agendas
Manipulate and edit audio and video pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Take a brief to grasp production teams needs and specifications
Review the needs and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value and contribution to continuity
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Work according to the marketing team to prepare marketing banners and ads.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.
Requirements:-
Proven work experience as a corporate designer and audio and video editor
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Should have knowledge about Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere CC,
Motion 5, Adobe After Effects CC, Adobe animation, Photoshop, Corel Draw
Professional work ethics is a mustPositive attitude towards self duties at workplace is a must
