Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with or follows instructions from senior graphic artists for development of new and revision of existing artworks, and artwork templates as needed.
Prepare artworks (text and design) for global product portfolio in support of regulatory submissions and commercial requirements, applying knowledge of regulations and requirements for various countries.
Responsible for reviewing artwork and print Proofs for design, text, color and other specifications to ensure accuracy to regulatory and customer requirements.
Occasionally coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements for development of artwork.
Able to negotiate timelines with clients and vendors. Works with senior graphic artists in developing projects with commitment to deadlines and customer satisfaction. Also responsible for advising as appropriate of any obstacles that may prevent timely completion of projects.
Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, drafting and layout as required.
Assists in maintaining artwork repositories (network storage/ sharepoint site/AMS).
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design or related field, production artwork experience a plus.
Minimum 1+ year previous experience graphic designer / computer graphic operator.
Must be organized and able to multi-task projects to meet daily production requirements.
Must have solid interpersonal skills for interfacing frequently with others
Understanding of branding guidelines and typography.
Excellent work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Self-directed , conceptual thinker, motivated, flexible and accountable.
Basic knowledge of Health Authority regulations and requirements for various countries a plus
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry a plus.
Barcode symbology knowledge a plus
Experience
Experience using Windows OS
Experience using Adobe Products (primarily Illustrator Indesign ) and Corel Draw for text layout and design, Microsoft Office, Barcode Creation Software, Basic knowledge of electronic artwork or document management systems (experience using Harmony a plus)
Ability to work with team members in different time zones/geographies
