As a Medical Illustrator, you will be the one who makes all the ideas come together in inspiring and informative materials like slide decks, posters, eLearning resources and internal landing pages. When we conduct our clinical trials, we present research protocols, risk management processes, drug properties, expected effects and much more.

•  These need to be conveyed in motivating, informative and scientifically credible ways to our many stakeholders involved in clinical trials, mostly medical doctors, nurses and other health care professionals. To ensure the trustworthiness of the medical content and the best ways of conducting the overall processes, we have a range of colleagues specialised in medical communication, scientific trial management and presentation techniques.
• When trial managers need a way of presenting a dataset or a timeline, you will be the one translating their needs into appetising, entertaining, and yet scientifically concise ways, using presentation tools, 3D imaging and animation software. In close collaboration with presenters and content specialists, you will be trimming wordings, streamlining calls to action and most importantly, delivering the immersive visual experience that captivates our meeting participants and help us convey complex, important information.
• As you develop and maintain strong visual identifies in accordance with overall Novo Nordisk policies, you will keep a close eye on new technological opportunities and trends, keeping us at the forefront of professional, scientific communication across all the media we employ.

Qualifications

• You should hold a minimum of bachelor s degree in Graphical Design or similar, with at least three years of experience in creating precise and pleasing presentation materials at the highest professional level.
• You are probably specialised in scientific communication maybe from textbook illustration, poster production or even popular science. In any case, you utilise most graphic presentation software with ease, being somewhat of an expert in at least a few.
• You have a distinct ability to reduce complexity without losing important information, and you take pride in that last detail that only a few will notice.
• Since you will be working with stakeholders from around the world and will be producing material to a very diverse group of people, we expect your cultural awareness to be rivalled only by your collaboration attitude, your personal drive, and your quality standards.
• Full fluency of English is necessary in this position. It is a great advantage if you have worked in a pharma setting before, easing a steep learning curve significantly.
