- Ensure consistency in translations and take overall responsibility for checking the initial translation quality
- Develop translation instructions, and perform initial translation quality process checks.
- Identify translation and review partners.
- Create translation memories.
- Communicate with the stakeholders on the quality of translation
- Creating and maintaining glossaries, style guides and translation memories
Language Lead
Language Lead ensures consistency in translations and will be overall responsible for maintaining the desired translation quality process.
A Language Lead establishes and maintains strong and collaborative working relationships internally with the stakeholders and with customers language counterparts. They are also able to make decisions in relation to Translation quality process. They can mentor and assist the translation teams and Associate language leads as well.
Job Responsibilities
Understanding localization Concept
Analysis, planning and coordination of localization projects.
Defining and developing linguistic instructions as per project requirements.
Creating and maintaining glossaries, style guides and translation memories.
Regular Customer and vendor interaction on language quality issues.
Overall responsible for maintaining the desired quality as defined by the Customer.
Effective and fluent internal email and on-call English communication with the stakeholders.
