  • Process large data extracts from client ERP systems into KPMG proprietary tools.
  • Understand ERP systems from Functional or Techno-Functional perspective.
  • Coordinate with onshore colleagues, engagement teams, and external clients to obtain the required data to perform audit DA solutions.
  • Work with KPMG engagement teams to discuss results from the tool.
  • Debug issues encountered while processing large data sets.
  • Test DA and other associated tools developed internally to verify the accuracy of the tool prior to use on audit engagements.
  • Build strong domain expertise (Accounting Auditing), ERP specific and Industry knowledge to enable effective collaboration with International counterparts in KPMG and Clients
  • Develop bespoke analytics and visualization solutions to analyze client data to provide evidence and insights for audit engagements.
  • Participate in the design, development, and implement fixes and enhancements to existing modules or new modules.
  • Document processes and procedures for use by other team members / administrators
  • Prepare clear and concise workpapers as evidence of work performed in relation to audit and assurance engagements.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or similar education background like BCA/MCA

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years in Data Analytics field
  • Experience with Big 4/leading Audit firms or their shared service center would be preferred

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 years in data analytics and visualization tools. ETL using SQL Server or Alteryx and visualization using Power BI
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Be a critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Be comfortable with manipulating and combining large, high dimensional datasets from multiple sources.
  • Ability to interpret findings and identify key insights to communicate to a non-technical audience.
  • Be passionate about delivering high quality work.
  • High-energy, independent decision maker with ability to manage priorities conflicts.
  • Ability to assimilate cultures and work in a global environment.
  • Ability to lead change by effectively building commitment and winning support for initiatives through influencing, negotiation, collaboration and relationship building skills
  • Willing to stretch working hours based on the business needs.
  • Open to learn about KPMG s new Audit Analytics tools and the techniques for deploying the tools
  • Open to learn new accounting system concepts
  • Well-organized, has experience managing multiple projects at once.
  • Proficient in debugging and finding out the possible solution to issues encountered while using the DA tools.

Bonus Skills (Good to have)

  • Experience developing and debugging Excel VBA macros.
  • Used Selenium for automation
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps or Microsoft Power Automate
