• Graduates and non-graduates can apply including people who want to work from home
• Translate the dialogue into the required language sensitively
• Candidates with translation experience are preferred,but not a must
• Should be good in either of these languages (Marathi/ Hindi/ Malayalam / Tamil/ Telugu / Gujarati/Kannada / Kashmiri/Oriya / Assamese/Bengali / Punjabi/Urdu)

• Interest in learning new skills both technical as well as translation specific
• Good comprehension skills and interest in watching different genre videos
• Good reading and understanding skills of both target and source languages and researching industry-specific terminology
• Good typing skills and basic MS office knowledge
• Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
• Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs
• Stay current on best practices

Roles and responsibilities:

• Working on maintaining consistency of terminology while translating
• Ensuring translated texts conveys original meaning and tone
• Translate the dialogue into the required language sensitively
• Creating/Quality assuring, proofreading and editing final translated versions and providing feedback as necessary to team members
• Understand how captions will appear on a screen and their impact on the viewing
• Work precisely to tight deadlines with text and timing
• Providing process improvement ideas for faster and quality output
• Be adept in using the subtitling software
• Researching idioms, technical content, colloquial expressions, etc., using various online resources, dictionaries and thesauruses to find the correct contextual translation
