Job Description

Role : Assistant Transition Manager

Job Location : Yeswanthpur, Bangalore (Currently WFH)

Office Timings - 1.30 PM to 10.30 PM from March to November

2.30 PM to 11.30 PM from November to March

Years of Experience 1-2 Yrs. of Experience post qualification of CA in Corporate environment/Audit Firms. Please do not include Article ship experience for the same.


Qualification Chartered Accountant (This is a must).


Skill sets:


1. Technical
Month end close accounting Should have good Month end close process knowledge along with Journal entries.
Intercompany Should have worked on Intercompany Accounting and Financial Consolidation.
Forex Accounting treatment Knowledge and entries for Forex Gain/Loss.
Revaluation Revaluation of currencies at the end of month. Fixed Asset Accounting
AP Process End to End Process and Control Points. AR Process - End to End Process and Control Points.
Revenue Recognition For Software License, Maintenance and Support. US GAAP knowledge.
Knowledge on Transition Methodology. Problem Solving abilities.
2. Soft Skills Should have Good Communication Skills (verbal and written), good team player, team handling & mentoring skills and should be willing to take up any activity.
3. Other Skills - Should have Good working knowledge of Excel and ERP (Oracle, SAP, People Soft, etc.).

1. Challenges in Job:
a. First Point Contact for Client, Client Finance Director (Consero US counterpart) and
Delivery Team during Transition phase.
b. First Point Contact for Technology team to provide inputs for Technology Implementation.
c. Process Architecture and Mapping Needs to draft To Be Process based on client current As Is Process.
d. Owner for implementation of To Be Processes.
e. Responsible for seamless Transition of Process from US to India team.


2. Learning Perspective:
a. Gets to work on Various accounting platforms (ERPs) and Consero standard platforms for accounting and
workflows.
b. Process Architecture and Mapping.
c. Client Management – Handling US clients. d. Project Management. e. Delivery Management.
f. Transition Methodology – Understand Transition’s process from start till end. g. Gets to know, understand and implement Cloud accounting.


3. Skill development:
a. Technical – Gets to work on US GAAP, working experience on accounting platforms and workflow solutions,
Process Mapping, Report building, etc.
b. Soft Skills – How to communicate with US, mentoring and leadership abilities, etc.

Skills Required: Finance,Internal Audit,Company Secretary,Audit,Tax,Statutory Audit,Audit Compliance,Intercompany Accounting
