  • Refresh and maintain data quality SSAS cubes. Assist in defect tracing and build data quality tools using SQL and SSAS. Support resolution of data quality issues either through definition of required source system changes or recommending workflow/process changes.
  • Monitor the Data Quality cubes built on EFR and address inconsistencies with assistance of Lead as needed.
  • Utilize SQL skills to provision data to users for testing (Extracts and Cubes).
  • Draft test plans and perform testing for Business Validation Testing (BVT), UAT support and Regression testing of the sources system changes. Log defects with thorough descriptions and evidences. Communicate testing statuses.
  • Support Lead and Sr. Analysts in ensuring the source systems data nuances are accurately reflected within the EE logical data models and the broader AXA XL logical data models.
  • Monitor balance and control reports, perform table level reconciliations, maintain documentation, research out-of-balances, work with business and the IT department to triage and resolve straight forward issues, and escalate complex items to Lead. Ensure Lead is kept abreast of statuses.

Under the direction of the Lead or Sr. Analyst, support data anomaly research and resolution. May require coordination with other EE Finance Operations teams as well as to users outside of the EE team.

Skills Required:

  • Expertise in SQL, SSAS, SSIS and Excel(required).
  • Working knowledge on Microsoft SQL server 2012 and above.
  • Build and maintain SSAS cubes.
  • SQL query optimization.
  • Maintain Stored Procedures.
  • Ability to develop and run SSIS packages to refresh month end cubes.
  • Insurance and/or Reinsurance knowledge (preferred) preferably obtained through experience at an insurance company, reinsurance company, agency or consulting firm.
  • Experience with one or more data management disciplines such as Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Warehousing, Reporting etc. (preferred).
  • Robust analytical skills (required).
  • Ability to take direction from US or UK onshore resources, work independently, and be accountable for assigned work (required).
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills (required).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (required).
  • Ability to work in fast paced Agile environment.
