Description
A. General Activities :
- To attend telephone calls politely by strictly adhering to telephone etiquette.
- Distributing water bottles to consultant room on daily basis.
- To act as a good liaison officer between the Consultant and the patient.
- To politely answer to all the queries raised by the patients.
- To confirm the appointments on the previous day for booked patients.
B . Pre Consultation Process :
- To welcome the patients with a pleasant smile and wish them.
- To check if the patient is visiting the hospital for the first time or if he has already registered with the hospital.
- To explain and issue tokens for the patients. (Cardiology / Neurology / Oncology OPD)
- To receive the files from MRD for both appointment cases as well as for walk in patients.
- To update the patients about the changes in OP schedule, if any.
- For patients visiting the hospital without appointment, the appointment should be provided as per the availability.
- To dispatch Lab investigation reports.
- The reports will be presented to the guest in a neat and clean envelope.
C. Post Consultation Process :
- To ensure that appointment is booked for next review after completion of consultation.
- To do bed bookings for planned admissions recommended from OPDs.
- Files of patient recommended for admission should be handed over to the Admission counter without delay.
- To follow up patients recommended for High end Investigation and to guide them accordingly.
- To co-ordinate for file movement for multiple consultations and to ensure that the file reaches the right counter at the right time without any delay.
- After a patient completes consultation, he/she will be guided to the billing counter if there are any further investigations to be done.
- To arrange the medical certificates for patients, if requested.
- To raise the Credit / Card / ECHS payment for Consultation Investigations .
- Do the TLC for New patients warm welcome .
- To collect the feed back from the patient through AIFS / Feed back forms .
D. On line Appointments :
- To follow up the appointments booked through ask apollo online consultation.
- To follow the On line booking appointment and communicate them through mail /phone .
