Description
What are my responsibilities
o JobDescription: As a Scrum Master (C#) the person is responsible for deliveringhigh-quality software, on-time and within budget by motivating and guiding thescrum team with agile/lean principles and practices to achieve the same.
o Co-ordinatewith PO for sprint backlog management, concept grooming and continuous deliveryof features.
o Co-ordinatewith architects and scrum team for backlog management, prototypes and technicalgrooming.
o Effectivelyguide and facilitate the sprint ceremonies to consistently achieve the sprintgoals (Sprint planning, reviews, retrospective, demo, daily stand-ups, andstakeholder meetings).
o Protectscrum team from outside distractions, impediments or team conflicts, andmaintain focus on product backlog and project timeline.
o Work / collaborate / communicateeffectively with internal and external stakeholders
o Regularlymonitor and control the metrics to meet project/product goals. (E.g. sprint/release burn down, velocity, defects, etc.)
o Guide theteam with Agile/Lean principles and practices
o Coaching,mentoring, and fostering the culture of transparency, continual improvement,and self organizing within the team.
o Ensurerequirement analysis and design of software solutions is done based onrequirements engg. process and architectural /design guidelines.
o Ensureimplementation of features and/or bug-fixing and delivering solutions inaccordance with coding guidelines and on-time with high quality.
o Build trustconnect, create positive environment by empowerment, facilitatingdiscussions, decision making and conflict resolution with emphasis on problemsolving.
o Identifyand control project risks by means of prevention, mitigation and contingencies.
o Ensure thatsprint deliverables are adhering to the Quality and regulatory guidelines.
Knowledge and Experience
12 to 16 Yrs of total experiencewith at least 3 Yrs as SM
o Around 12years of industry experience, with at least Three years of experience in theScrum Master role diligently applying agile/lean principles, practices andtechniques to deliver value to the end customers.
o Experiencein software design and development (C#, OOPS, Design principles patterns,Data structures, unit testing frameworks etc.)
o Experiencein Project management tools and techniques. (E.g. Excel, TFS for backlogmanagement, WBS, Estimation techniques, RCA tools...)
o Ability toeffectively manage Risks, communications and stakeholders.
o Able towork with team to resolve dependencies/ ambiguous situations.
o Exposure toSVN, Git is preferred
o Strongknowledge of software engineering lifecycle and PLM processes.
o Excellentinterpersonal and leadership skills.
o Excellentcommunication skills.
o Goodanalytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
o Should beEnthusiastic, Approachable, self-motivated and result oriented.
o Industryautomation domain knowledge will be added advantage.
