Salesken Coversational AI:

The conversational AI team in Salesken builds AI assistant technologies across all the product lines of Salesken including real-time cuing, speech recognition, post call analysis, emotion recognition and other future innovations. We work on unique challenges from both a product and research perspective, including but not limited to Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Natural Language Inference (NLI), Natural Language Generation (NLG), Question & Answering, Dialog Management, Multimodal Understanding, Knowledge Graph, Reinforcement Learning and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) technologies.

We are looking for Machine Learning Engineers & Research Scientists to join our Conversational AI Group at Salesken. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in algorithms, data structures and software engineering. They will have a strong background in ML, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, NLP. They should be able to work with massive amounts of data and build software systems at scale.

What you'll do as a Research Scientist/ Research Intern/ RA

As a Research Scientist, you'll set up large-scale tests and deploy promising ideas quickly and broadly, managing deadlines and deliverables while applying the latest theories to develop new and improved products, processes, or technologies. The projects will be real-world problems that span across Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP and more. Develop solutions for real-world, large-scale problems.

1. Own an applied research agenda that can be translated into novel products or substantial product improvements that can benefit our users
2. Work hands-on with other team members and product areas toward launches
3. Communicate and promote research agenda to decision makers
4. Publish in top venues in the field

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Pursuing or completed PhD in Computer Science, or related technical fields, or equivalent practical experience
2. Tier one college preferred
3. Experience in Machine Learning, NLP/NLU/NLG, Computer Vision, or other areas of Deep Learning
4. Experience with general purpose programming languages such as Python, C/C++ or Java
5. Contributions to research communities including publishing in forums (e.g. NeurlPS, ICML, ICLR, JMLR, ACL, CVPR, KDD, AAMAS)

Preferred Qualifications

1. Strong publication record
2. Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
3. Experience working closely with product teams toward launches
