Overall Role Purpose

  • Support the research and planning function by gathering and analysing appropriate information, and producing reports for use by Sales, Marketing and Senior Management.

  • Assist to collect economic, industry and competitor information to perform external environment analysis.
  • Assist to gather information for the annual business planning process including different customer segments, key markets and trends.

  • Produce analysis and reports for the use of sales staff to track selling effectiveness.
  • Market analysis & research projects deliver accurate and insightful findings to support business development
  • Reports and analysis can facilitate program design to support sales. Liase with research agencies regarding market research studies, and help to follow up on research results. to deliver quality of work within budget and time schedule Research, Analysis and Report Preparation
  • Undertake local, small scale research studies for specific purposes to help identify sales leads or market potential.
  • Support the budget and reforecast process by consolidating KPIs, performance against projections and analysing variances.
  • Membership of trade bodies: Obtain membership of various trade/industry bodies to represent DHL views Develop industry knowledge resource
  • Develop industry knowledge resource through subscription to various books, magazines, white papers, etc
  • Prepare industry presentations for use by senior management Assist in content finalization, design and publication of the monthly paper Collect customer feedback and action Sales Leads Management: full cycle on: Producing the non DHL contacts for our sales team
  • Pre-qualification to clean out the non users of Air Express services

  • Continuously collect and update macroeconomic indicators and conduct correlation analysis with DHL performance

Incumbent has 1 direct reportee and authority over country line and functional personnel. Nevertheless he/she must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions.
