Research Engineer (Architecture Team)

Job Description: Design and develop machine learning and deep learning systems (ANN, CNN, RNN and attention models) for object, text, image, video and time-series applications

• Keep abreast of and understand technology trends and drivers in ML, AI and deep learning for object, text, image, video and time-series applications.
• Interface with various divisions of the organization to understand present and future customer requirements and expectations.
• Translate present and future customer requirements/expectations to concrete, well-scoped problem statements.
• Develop, test, optimize and deploy new/advanced ML algorithms, architectures and models to address the problem statements and further the state of the art in the above applications
• Optimize AI models for specific hardware in order to improve performance, accuracy, etc.

Background and Skills Required:

• Degree and/or experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Basic math skills (Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Calculus and Optimization)
• Exposure to various AI and NN frameworks such as ANN, CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer, Attention models, etc.
• Experience in testing and application of new NN architectures
• Experience in developing Neural Network models in Tensorflow, Keras
• Experience in applying ML Algorithms and Libraries to solve complex problems in AI
• Programming experience in Python (or related programming languages)
• Algorithm design, development and testing
• Analytical bent of mind, problem-solving skills.
• Team player working alongside data scientists, ML engineers, AI specialists, business analysts, software developers and consultants
