Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • Be actively involved in the physical and chemical analysis of foods & materials using standard test methods like FSSAI, AOAC, AACC, FCC , API, FSSAI and IS guide lines and align the work from quality control perspective in analytical domain.
  • Extraction of compounds from various matrices and their analysis using various chromatography systems like GC, HPLC, GC-MS & LC-MS
  • Working on the other analytical methods like moisture, ash content, fat, protein and sugar analysis etc.
  • Product analysis along with impurity profiling.
  • Review of scientific literature and data compilation.
  • Handling and maintaining various lab equipments.
  • Prepare documentation of analysis and results for internal use.
  • Follow safety guidelines and actively promote quality research.
  • Participate in development of projects with application and customer oriented know-how.
  • Participate in team and project work assignments, contribute to a positive working environment
  • Write detailed technical reports on the practical work done.
  • Coordination with the central purchase team for chemicals/glassware/CRMs procurement.
     

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Master degree in Chemistry
  • 2-3 years of experience in food analytical/QC.
  • In-depth knowledge of various analytical techniques and method development is must.
  • Chemical and physical analysis of foods using standard test methods like FSSAI, AOAC, FCC, AACC, APHA and IS guide lines.
  • Experience in Chromatographic & Spectrophotometric analysis.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills, excellent team player with a flexible attitude, curious and energetic.
  • Good computational and data management skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Work to withstand pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of Food & Food Ingredients Analysis.
  • Have knowledge of national food regulatory guidelines.
