Roles and Responsibilities

1 - Responsible for the daily activities associated with timely and accurate processing of various national payrolls using the enterprise SAP/other payroll tools and system.

2 - Candidate will be responsible for entering/maintaining employee payroll data such as banking instructions, various allowances, and processing time records.

3 - Validate and upload files for deductions, verification of reimbursement forms and other pay-period payments / adjustments.

4 - Audit payroll results by verifying manually entered transactions to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

5 - Create electronic disbursement bank files and other net pay remittance files as necessary. Balance outbound files and generate payroll reports to downstream systems or departments as necessary.

6 - Candidate must apply sound financial analysis concepts beyond the simple adherence to detailed procedures and instructions, recommending solutions to unusual problems. Assignments call for strong judgment and resourcefulness to resolve problems where solutions are not obvious.

7 - Assist with functional testing and provides feedback and support for system design changes and enhancements.

Basic Qualifications

1 - Must have legal right to work in New Delhi, India without sponsorship 2 - Ability to read, write, and speak English at an intermediate proficiency level

3 - Bachelor s Degree from an accredited institution with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

4 - Minimum 2 to 4 years of applicable payroll work experience, preferably of Indian Payroll and related compliances.

1 - Basic to intermediate proficiency in Payroll and General Ledger accounting systems, processes, and controls

2 - SAP Payroll system experience

3 - Ability to work on MS-Excel for various ad-hoc analysis activities

4 - Conversant with Indian payroll tax and social security rules and regulations

5 - CPA and/or payroll specialist or other similar certifications.

6 - Experience with a large multi-national corporation and multi-country foreign payroll processing

7 - Able to efficiently organize work activities to meet daily and weekly deadlines

8 - Ability to work effectively in a team environment

9 - Self-starter able to use sound business judgment in carrying out assigned tasks
