Openings for Network Security Engineer role in Bangalore location.

Experience - 0.6 years to 7 years.

Notice Period - Immediate to 30 days.

The scope of responsibilities assigned to the position:

• Works for worldwide customers within her/his own team to solve problems and enhance future products
• Solves reported product and network problems of moderate to high complexity
• Effectively utilizes databases of existing issues, debugging tools and simple or moderate lab simulations to analyze problems and identify solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction
• Keeps up-to-date with the latest technology trends/products in order to provide high quality support to customers

The qualifications and personal skills we are looking for are:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering
• Experience in working on features like NAT, ALG, HA, IDS/IPS

Or

Experience in working on AAA technologies like RADIUS, TACACS, DOT1X

Or

Experience in working on VPN technologies like IKEv1, IKEv2, PKI, SSL VPN, NHRP, GRE over IPsec, Remote Access VPN Clients etc.

• Good understanding of routing & switching concepts
• Deep understanding of OSI model & protocols like ARP, TCP, IP, DHCP, DNS, IPSEC, ISAKMP
• Working knowledge of Wireshark
• Logical Problem Solving approach and Analytical skills
• Cisco Security Certifications (CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCIE Security) would be a plus
• Experience in working on Cisco Products - IOS/IOS-XE routers, ASA, FTD etc would be a plus
• Solid technical foundation in networking (CCNA or above) is required
• Linux, VMware knowledge would be a plus
• Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing; other languages would be a plus
• Passion and demonstrated ability to learn and work in a multicultural team environment
• Ability to drive, achieve goals with limited supervision
