Job Role: Subtitling (Transcription)

Designation: Media Associate

Job Description:

• Subtitles are the dialogues/ narrative of a film/ TV show for viewers. They appear as text at the bottom of the screen while content is playing out.
• Roles and responsibilities:
• Working on maintaining consistency of terminology while transcribing.
• Creating/ Quality assuring, proofreading and editing final transcribed versions and providing feedback as necessary to team members
• Providing process improvement ideas for faster and quality output
• Researching idioms, technical content, colloquial expressions etc. using various online resources, dictionaries and thesauruses to find the correct contextual transcription.

Job requirements:

• Experience and familiarity with movies and serials
• Strong listening skills
• Basic typing skills
• Good internet research skills
• Candidates with transcription and content writing(creative writing) experience are preferred
