Summary:
We are looking for an individual passionate about the power of data in storytelling. The role involves bringing insights into marketing materials through data analysis. The Marketing Insights Intern will work on the Corporate Marketing Team reporting to the Strategy Insights Manager. You will support initiatives across departments, including the product marketing, design, sales, and analytics teams. Work will include creating insights from internal and external data, helping craft blogs and sales materials using data insights, and building and maintaining data dashboards.
What you'll do:
- Analyze data from 3 main datasets, exclusive shopper purchase data, first-party shopper intent data, proprietary location intelligence, summarize key findings and share across teams
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to define data needs and deliver finalized insights
- Summarize insights into blogs or sales presentations to enable data-driven marketing
- Find opportunities to innovate and use data in creative ways
- Lead a summer project with opportunity to present to senior leadership at the end of the internship
What you'll bring:
- Student must be currently enrolled at an accredited college/university
- Pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience data analysis and visualization
- Experience with SQL, or a similar data querying language, and strong knowledge of Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Curiosity, attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively and on several projects simultaneously
