Job Description

Roll Brief :

Working closely with category manger to ensure smooth running of operations to maximise profitability of category.

Ensure the season launch, brand launch or collection launch at Paytm Mall , at appropriate time and in correct quantities.

This involves working closely with buyer to forecast sales, inwards and monitor performance.

Coordinating with brands about promotions and get the discounts updated accordingly. Also oversee delivery, allocation of stock and deal with vendors.

Responsibilities :

1) Inventory management (MP/FC) Manage inventory with target DOH , ensure top sellers availability through out the with catalogue team for listing of new styles at Paytm % Analysis , regular feedback to the vendors on style level performance

2) Managing visibility Planning & executing PLA & Banner Ads for respective brands. Following up with brands and creative team for creative and ensure banners get live timely.

3) Discount management & Resolving reconciliation issues: following up with brands for timely activation of discounts for every event. Follow up with finance team to resolve discount disputes or any other reconciliation issues.

4) Reports Daily , Weekly and monthly reports.

5) New brands on-boarding (Market place)

a) Identify gaps in catalogue and on board potential brands.

b) Margin negotiation and paper work.

c) Curating styles to making the catalogue live.

d) Monitor sales performance.

e) Monitor Catalogue & Inventory health.

f) Negotiate like never before deals with the brands on selected range & promote them aggressively to drive better sales

6) Hygiene Metrics Weekly track returns at category & brand level. Provide detailed feedback to the vendors to control returns basis customer feedback. Monitor Delivery SLA & Cancelations.

Key Deliverables:

Deliver the business metrics for the category viz. Availability (# of listings, stock availability, # of merchant partners), Sales (GMV, Qty Sold) and Profitability (% gross margins)

Maintain the balance between MOM growth for current sellers and avoiding seller concentration - so get new sellers for the category while growing business for current sellers

Reduce churn of the Top sellers - keep all the top sellers engaged with the marketplace through day to day interaction on live (existing) catalogues, introducing new catalogues and deals

Ensure the category sellers deliver a good experience for buyers in the category

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Including preferred experience, skills and competencies) :

Bachelors/Masters from NIFT mandatory

Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience in E-commerce

Experience with category management and P&L responsibility

Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion & inventory management

Proficient in MS Office

Strong with Data Numbers

Good Interpersonal & negotiation skills
