You will join our Support Organization department

As our new Analyst- ITSS you will be part of you will be part of Ramboll Support Organization with approx. 270 highly skilled and energetic IT colleagues across our geographies. We deliver infrastructure, client, applications and projects to our 15000 colleagues in Ramboll across the globe.

Our customers are the consultants, engineers and other experts, who work to provide solutions to Ramboll’s external customers. We do not set a clear line between support levels, but instead, your support role will vary depending on your expertise, experience, the global workload, time of day, and global resourcing situation. Therefore, your responsibilities will be a mix of many kinds of support tasks. This means, that in addition to strong communication and service skills, you need to have a wide, solid understanding of various fields of IT.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Providing technical support to Ramboll’s internal customer over the phone, in writing, using remote support and other communication channels as required.
  • Ensuring all service and support documentation is kept up to date
  • Recording all IT related queries and issues in ServiceNow
  • Responding to, troubleshooting and resolving cases within required time periods and ensure timely escalation when needed
  • Continuously providing excellent customer service by being friendly, efficient and informative
  • Knowledge sharing with less experienced colleagues

Your starting point for constant growth

We are looking for an IT Support technician with support as a specialty. You will hold 2+ years of experience in IT support and understand that technical skills are crucial but not all a great supporter needs to be successful. You will have an interest towards customer service and understand the essentials of a great service experience. You will follow internal processes and timelines, but at the same time are capable of being empathic, helpful and will take ownership of the case.

You will have broad knowledge on standard IT technologies, tools and modules, and can support various devices such as pcs, tablets, phones, video conferencing equipment and other devices, and provide technical and functional support on Ramboll standard applications and software.

From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:

  • ITIL V3 Foundation certification or similar level of ITIL knowledge
  • Microsoft certifications are a bonus - Office 365, Office 2013/2016 or similar level of knowledge
  • CompTIA A+ or similar level of knowledge
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Working experience in supporting conferences and video conferences
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving advanced technical incidents, whether being related to hardware or software.

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:

The IT Support technician we are looking for must be flexible regarding office hours, due to event support and supporting a Global business. You will also be expected to take part in on-call shifts to ensure adequate cover, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
