Description
To assist the senior chefs in ensuring a higher level of customer satisfaction through maintenance of the food quality, hygiene and standards
Responsibility:
- Prepare food based on orders received as per SOPs.
- Ensure the order, storage, preparation SOPs are strictly followed.
- Ensure preparation of ingredients for Senior chefs e.g. Washing, Peeling, Chopping, Grating etc
- Ensure dish ingredients and portion sizes are measured accurately.
- Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen stations and equipment's required for the food preparation process
- Assist CDP/ DCDP to ensure each staff member in the assigned section is trained on the Kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Responsible for arrangement of food in the storage and refrigerator to ensure minimal wastage of raw materials or food.
Ensure the Unit Chef/ Unit Head are informed in time about the stock of ingredients required on the basis of current availability.
