The consultant will mainly work with the EY team to:• Be part of the client engagements and lead specific work-streams• Map current processes & control systems and identify gaps and areas of improvement• Design the target operating model (TOM) for future state processes• Support the Engagement Manager for activities such as engagement economics andreceivables, project resources and team utilization• Lead the delivery / execution of high quality deliverables and manage service quality, brandand client expectations• Contribute to brand development by supporting the authoring of articles, developing thoughtleadership and point-of-views• Contribute to knowledge development and management• Demonstrate industry / solution expertise• Ensure compliance to the firm’s standards, processes and policies• Contribute to the firm’s initiatives in enhancing market leadership & growth, quality, peopleagenda and operational excellenceProfessional Background• 2 to 5 years of relevant post MBA experience - Consulting background (preferably) or Industrybackground (Business excellence / functional role/ Solution / Sales)• Process optimization experience in process areas like Lead to Order (L2O), Order to Cash(O2C), Record to report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Hire to Retire (H2R) etc.• Experience in working on finance transformation, business diagnostics, business case analysisand planning, planning budgeting and forecasting, performance improvement of internaloperations, Service sourcing, RfP process, Outsourcing/offshoring strategy and setup, Sharedservice or IT transformation or Design of SLAs, process KPIs and reporting requirements.• Domain knowledge of Technology sector. Should have worked in any one or more of followingsub-sectors of technology sector – Global capability center's or SSCs, IT Services, Engineeringservices, BPO, Semiconductor, Devices, Hardware, Software, Internet and e-commerce.• Knowledge of current technology landscape, trends and solutions.• Relevant consulting experience with Big 4 is preferred.• Industry experience of managing functions under controllership, FP&A, Revenue mgmt.,transactional finance, etc. especially within the professional services domain.• Exposure to data management and analytics.Preferred Skills• Expertise in two or more of the areas listed – Experience in working on processtransformation, business diagnostics, business case analysis and planning, planning budgetingand forecasting, performance improvement of internal operations, Service sourcing, RfPprocess, Outsourcing/offshoring strategy and setup, Shared service or IT transformation orDesign of SLAs, process KPIs and reporting requirements• Hands-on experience on any ERP suite like Oracle, SAP across modules SD, FICO, PS, MM• Exposure to implementation of RPA/OCR/BI/Consolidation tools• Experience with process mapping tools like Microsoft Visio, IBM Blueworks, Celonis etc.• Hands on experience with different data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BICore skills• Sharp focus on quality delivery• Understanding of the economic and business environment• Professional network and networking skills• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Program management, multi-tasking and time management skills• Excellent people and teaming skills• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power PointOther• Willingness to travel• Willingness to learn and imbibe new skills• Flexible to adopt to a demanding lifestyle• Able to thrive in relatively unstructured situations• High initiative and drive, positive attitude and high commitment• Maturity and ability to handle pressureAcademic Background• B.E. / B.Tech. or CA + MBA (preferably from a premier institute such as IIMs, NITIE, SP Jain,XLRI, ISB, FMS etc.) with a good academic background.Base Location and Travel
