Company Description: WayCool Foods and Products has been set up with the vision of organizing India's farm-to-fork supply chain, to deliver cleaner, fresher and better produce to consumers, generate higher returns to farmers, and reduce wastage and inefficiency. The company intends to do this by establishing direct links to farmers on the one side and consumers on the other, and by using a combination of physical and information technology to link them efficiently. The company's leadership team comprises veterans with deep experience across several industries, as well as agri-tech experts. The company serves over 50 wholesale clients and is scaling the same up rapidly. WayCool also distributes to 12 retail outlets under the brand, SunnyBee.

About the Role: Business Finance Analyst is an Individual Contributor role where you will be responsible for tracking key financial metrics and communicating actionable plans to stakeholders. You would be closely working with the business/product teams to enable data driven decision making regarding cash flow management, working capital requirement and capex planning.

What you'll do:

  • You will work primarily on working capital planning, capital budgeting & cash flow management.
  • Develop financial plans along with various business teams, on weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual basis.
  • Do scenario analysis and develop business plans on business initiatives • Prepare financial information & analysis for business reviews / presentations with key highlights.
  • You will work closely with internal WayCool teams to identify, define, collect, and track key financial & business metrics.
  • Review the plans vs actual on regular basis; in depth analysis of variance and communicating the same proactively creating right visibility and enabling planning of actionable.
  • Continuous tracking of key financial and business metrics, accurate reporting and circulating the same to relevant stakeholders at requisite time intervals.
  • You will pull data required to conduct business analysis, build reports, dashboards and metrics to monitor the performance.
  • You will execute quantitative analysis that translates data into actionable insights.

What you will need:

  • MBA from a tier 1/ tier 2 University or business school / should hold a degree in finance with

1-2 yrs of experience.

Required abilities / competencies:

  • Ability to translate structured and unstructured problems into analytical framework &

simplified business stories.

  • Ability to experiment with alternate analytical techniques to solve a problem.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work on a diverse range of requirements.

Technical capabilities:

  • Strong knowledge in financial planning/analysis & accounts management (payable, receivables, inventory etc.)
  • Good handle in data analytics & visualization tools, expertise in MS Excel
  • Good to have : working experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Data studio, etc)
