Roles and Responsibilities :

We are looking for a highly motivated, results oriented Insurance professional having experience in underwriting Fire and Engineering business

- The job will entail examining, underwriting and developing Fire and Engineering business in accordance with defined objectives of market share and profitability

- An important part of this role will be to develop client relationships as well broker relationships

- The job would involve travelling to meet with existing as well as potential clients, attend tender pre-bid meetings and tender submissions

- There will collaboration required within the Property and Energy Team as well as other Line of businesses and distribution channels within the commercial lines team

Required skill set :

- We have positions open in Jaipur and Lucknow for candidates with 3 to 7 years of experience, preferably handling government business, MN & IIA business, Broking or direct channel for another insurer/broker

- Expertise in Fire and Engineering Underwriting for Large risks Basic knowledge of reinsurance market, reinsurance structures is advantageous

- Portfolio assessment capabilities

- Willingness to learn/proven track record as a successful sales person and deal maker

Other requirements :

• Candidates must be willing to travel for the role
• Candidate with Engineering background will be preferred
