Description
Responsibilities :
- Proficient in MySQL/SQL Server/Oracle database programming/administration.
- Work in production support shifts and off-hour production emergencies.
- Monitoring the production environment and ensure smooth functioning.
- Develop complex queries for analysis, monitoring and report generation.
- Must be willing to work on-call and in rotational shifts as part of regular work schedule or off hours when required.
- Past experience monitoring, maintaining, analyzing and tuning MySQL in a highly available environment, a central requirement.
- Ability to work constructively with developers, QA, Project managers and Management towards a common goal.
- High motivation and desire to do whatever it takes to help the customer and our company succeed.
- Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, good interpersonal and communication skills and a high energy level.
- Proven ability to work with teams that are geographically separated.
- Should be a self-starter with a high level of initiative
- Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking capabilities
