Job Description

ETL Developer with hands on knowledge on ETL tools, scripting and database . Will perform development tasks and provide enterprise development integration within their specific domain knowledge. Will ensure that their development tasks are on schedule and with high quality.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret complex business requirements/ workflows
• Gather and prepare analysis based on information from internal and external sources to evaluate and demonstrate program effectiveness and efficiency
• Perform detailed design, development, unit testing and deployment for small - medium size projects
• Developing and maintaining standards, common processes and best practices
• Create quality documentations (Design, Unit test plans , Operations Guide)
• Support project deployments
• Assist others on issues, critical situations to meet project objectives and Act as a technical mentor for junior team members
• Status reporting for the assigned projects
• Learn new concepts of the technology and train others on them
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge on Datastage, SQL and UNIX
• Strong knowledge on Unix, Shell & Perl Scripting
• Knowledge on testing and automations
• Aware of ETL and Datawarehousing concepts
• Ability to lead the team
• Knowledge on Airflow and Github
• Knowledge on Dev Ops, Agile, CICD
• Hands on experience on writing complex SQLs
• Ability to collaborate with all developers and business users to understand requirements
• Ability to design, Build Datastage jobs and write test scripts as per mapping documents to perform ETL loads
• Ability to analyze and interpret source data and provide resolutions to new requirements, to solve existing data issues and coordinate with data analyst to validate assumptions
• Ability to validate all data flows, prepare ETL processes according to business requirements and incorporate all business requirements into design specifications
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and recover all production issues when on-call rotation comes to provide production support
• Ability to develop and perform validation on ETL loads as per mapping documents
• Ability to provide support to maintain data delivery SLA compliance and maintain various standards to perform ETL codes and maintain an effective project life cycle on all ETL processes
• Ability to Work collaboratively in global project with a positive team spirit and ensure team work & coordination
• Good communication and presentation skills

• Knowledge on Azzure/Cloud Technologies
• Knowledge on Spark, Scala, Kafka, python
• Ability to write complex SQL's Teradata
