About the COO Office

Your role within the COO Office is to drive SAP's internal and external organizational success. You support the enhancement of business and process performance, project and change management, organizational design. Support the efforts of a project team and at times may lead and direct the work of others. This is a dynamic role continuously striving to optimize business processes and operations. It supports flawless execution to meet project expectations & deadlines in support of global SAP and/or unit/area-specific goals and strategy.

Area 1: Strategy to Execution

  • Support development of (board) area-specific strategy, execution, and operational plans
  • Support monitoring of specific goals (scope, quality, budget, time) to make the sure process and product quality goals to are met

Area 2: Process Definition & Enhancement

  • Assist during a project in Support process definition, rollout, and monitoring
  • Support continuous process and quality improvements

Area 3: Day-to-Day Expectations (include but are not limited to)

  • Execution of periodic reports for program & project operations
  • Support planning meetings, and overall coordination of project management activities (meetings, schedule, rooms, communication)
  • Support the usage of different tools (capacity planning, JAM, BW and reporting framework)
  • Participate in documentation management under the direction of the Project Lead
  • Editing of newsletter and information provided via SAP Corporate Portal
  • Event management

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Learn and understand the Services business as well as specific cloud SAP products
  • 3 4-month rotations with various teams within the business
  • Classroom style learning with a mix of technical and soft skill topics
  • On the job training with the support of buddies and coaches
  • Work on relevant engagements that demonstrate your communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong work ethic that delivers high-quality deliverables
  • Demonstrate problem-solving, time management, and communication skills through a range of activities done during training and on the job
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Meeting performance requirements at the conclusion of each rotation
  • Displaying effective communication skills to handle and explain customer situations (to both business end-users and SAP technical/ functional consultants)
  • Adapt to knowledge on new technologies in a consistently dynamic and changing environment
