Administration Services Associate II
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Review knowledge articles that have been entered into the system by KM Authors and reviewed by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Review knowledge articles for compliance to style guidelines and for consistency within client knowledge base and across client knowledge bases.
- Update knowledge articles that are not complaint so that they meet program standards.
- Gatekeeper role: perform final check for knowledge article compliance including verifying proper metadata tagging, validating appropriate audience selection, and confirming legal and/or security requirements, then publish the article to the appropriate audience.
- Make sure that all content meets standard presentation requirements as well as grammar and punctuation. standards as defined by internal and external style guides.
- Monitor knowledge base workflow queue for new work assignments.
Skills:
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in the area of Knowledge Management or online publishing, including active support of the users and customers of an enterprise KM system which includes writing and publishing of content.
- Requires expert knowledge of written English language.
- Must have strong editing and document design skill set.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-awareness of the role: understand how to improve the readability or usability of an article without altering its meaning, which is the responsibility of the SME.
- Takes the initiative regarding development/revisions of knowledge base content. Requires minimal direction.
- Strong background/experience in authoring tools such as MS Word, FrontPage, or specific knowledge management applications.
- Knowledgeable in HTML.
- Must be able to coordinate workload across multiple clients.
