Data drives all of our decision-making. Using analytical excellence and statistical methods, you mine through data to identify opportunities for our clients to operate more efficiently, from enhancing product design efficacy to customer support optimization to studying customer behavior. As an analyst, you work with the Analytics and Planning - Customer Support team to adjust practices and processes according to your findings.

  • Identifying systematic relationships between concepts such as age, gender, skills etc., curating product types, attributes and analyzing the catalog and advising solutions to improve data accuracy
  • Researching, classifying, and annotating the phrases, terms, using unstructured data from different sources - email, chat, social media, product reviews etc., Working with data science team to assure high classification accuracy
  • Research new entity categories and best practices for organizing them
  • Leverage external resources like Wikipedia and standards to enrich and organize our data
  • Advising stakeholders on the best usage of the taxonomy

Must have skill:

  • Mapping various product concepts to internal structures
  • Metadata and taxonomy best practices
  • Understanding how structures may change based on the growth of the catalog
  • Understanding of nuanced linguistic concepts, especially as they apply to retail products
  • Excellent command of the English language. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • 1+ years of Strong hands-on experience in Data Labelling
  • 1+ years of experience with taxonomy work, search, controlled vocabularies, and/or linguistic annotation
  • Understand the trade-offs involved in making classification decisions. Ability to understand and apply complex task-specific instructions with minimal supervision
  • Design or extend analytic frameworks and semantic representations to support richer models of language use.
  • Work closely with multiple teams and roles (Project Management, engineers, and researchers) by providing linguistic expertise and direction for new NLP capabilities (e.g., dialog, ambiguity, inference).
  • Propose and implement improvements of analytics tools that support linguistic analysis.
  • Evaluate the output of machine learning classifiers and internal tools
