Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong foundation in taxation (both direct and indirect) and financial reporting. The role demands deep expertise in statutory compliance, tax planning, and the ability to lead and coordinate with internal teams and external consultants. Proficiency in Tally ERP, as the role involves travel to Kerala for department-related matters.

Additional Information

Taxation (Primary Focus):
Manage direct tax compliance including advance tax, TDS, income tax return filings, and handling notices and assessments.
Oversee indirect tax compliance: GST return filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns), reconciliations, and refund processes.
Provide tax planning and advisory to ensure optimal tax strategy while ensuring full legal compliance.
Represent the company in tax assessments, appeals, and proceedings before tax authorities.
Stay updated with regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization.


Finance & Accounting:
Finalize financial statements in accordance with Accounting Standards (AS/Ind AS) and ensure audit readiness.
Supervise the accounting team for accurate, timely, and compliant recording of transactions and month-end/year-end closings.
Oversee cash flow management, MIS reports, budgets, and working capital requirements.
Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, professional tax, and Companies Act obligations.

Preferred candidate profile
Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed corporate or audit firm.
Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and applicable accounting and disclosure requirements.
Proficiency in Tally ERP (mandatory) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Experience in handling tax notices, audits, and liaising with consultants and authorities.
The role requires periodic travel to Kerala for tax-related coordination with departments and consultants, as well as occasional travel to other states across India for similar financial and compliance matters.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
