MISSION
( Why the position exists )
- Strategic transformation of Engineering function of Project Business to Increase our competitiveness & Improve our margins through establishing a Global Engineering Centre for BMS in India.
(What is the expected contributions of the position to the results of the organization)
- Develop a Business Growth Strategy, Actionable Plan & Focused approach to achieve results + Monitoring & Reporting.
- Build a great efficient Team to serve Global BMS Project Business - Design & Engineering requirements.
- Network with Global Teams- Influence/Convince on business Models & build the trust & confidence levels to outsource their activities.
- Develop a Brand Image for the competency group.
- Be creative & Localize the solutions offered for different countries/regions to improve customer satisfaction.
- Bring up Scalability to the Business in an Agile manner within a short span of time of 1-2 years.
- Develop Dependable Quality Vendors to support Engineering Centre requirements (to scale up quickly as necessary).
- Develop & create Infrastructure within the group necessary to implement a Global Engineering Centre
- Train & Inspire the teams both in Technical terms as well as Professionalism as required for a Global Business.
- Work very closely with Schneider India BMS design teams to optimize solutions & labor utilization to improve Local Margins.
- Create, Maintain & Improvise Standards, Processes & Tools to improve the Business Results & Quality of Delivery.
- Collaborate with other Engineering Centre within Schneider to bring in commonality & Synergy.
- Inspire the team to achieve High level of customer satisfaction (9+ over 10)
