About the Team

The role is with the advanced analytics and insights team. This team is responsible for connecting key data sources to generate insights, identify consumer needs and respond to those needs at scale. We work with customer, marketing and digital teams to improve ways in which businesses interact with their customers and elevate the customer experience. Primary impact of the role is to support mostly CPG/FMCG and digital first businesses to create customer and marketing strategies using data-driven insights.

Roles & Responsibilities

Associate Consultant is an entry level position for the Advanced Analytics and Insights team. You are expected to acquire modeling skills and assist the team to solve business problems using advanced analytics (statistical, econometrics) and machine learning approaches. The solutions need to be integrated with a business to guide data-driven strategies by leveraging datasets across sources. Advanced Analytics team provides valuable inputs based on the generated insights and is a critical piece in businesses strategy to drive success through data-driven approaches.

Some of the key roles & responsibilities are:

  • Understand the clients business problem, participate in the design and execution of analysis to address those questions, and be able to understand the impact of recommendations across the relevant business KPIs
  • Dive into large customer and marketing datasets, uncovering insights, and providing impactful recommendations to clients leveraging data from multiple sources
  • Transform model results into actionable insights through strong storytelling with data designed for executive-level audiences by connecting the dots across data sources to provide a holistic view of business outcomes
  • Support the vision and creation of advanced analytics solutions, modeling approach and implementation for customer, marketing and digital analytics solutions
  • Bring a strong background with proven experience in marketing analytics, customer analytics, digital analytics, marketing effectiveness, segmentation, modelling and optimization
  • Strong knowledge of advanced analytics methodologies supervised and unsupervised with good understanding of advanced analytics and machine learning driven approaches

Qualifications & Experience

  • 0-2 years of experience in customer, marketing and/or digital analytics
  • Experience of implementing customer, marketing and/or digital analytics in FMCG/CPG or Ecommerce domain is a big plus
  • Strong understanding of basic statistics t-tests, z-tests, hypothesis testing, multiple linear regression, logistic regression etc.
  • Experience defining analytics, modeling, and optimization strategies and executing model driven approach to solving business problems
  • Understanding of databases and ability to mine large data sets using advanced SQL, BigQuery skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a global environment where one has to collaborate with cross border teams on a continuous basis and work as a team

Salary: Based on experience and current package
