Job Role
- Process purchase invoices
- Raise sale invoices
- Allocate customer receipts
- Allocate supplier payments
- Help with bank reconciliation
- Help with bookkeeping queries
- Prepare CSV upload files
- Assist with VAT returns
- Assist in accounts preparation
- Strictly adhere to code of conduct
- Ensure that information is accurate
- React in a timely manner if the information is not accurate
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
Required Candidate profile
Essential minimum requirements:
- Excellent understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices
- B. Com, M. Com, C.A. Inter.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) & Tally
- Good knowledge of computers. Must be a quick learner & smart worker
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail
- Good (formal and informal) written English
- Reliable, organised and able to meet deadlines
Desirable but not essential:
- Knowledge of QuickBooks & Xero
- Experience in accounting practice
- Working knowledge VLOOKUPS and PIVOT Tables
